My name is Jing Zhang, born in Xi'an, China, in 1981. My artistic journey began at the Art School attached to Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, where I graduated in 2002. I pursued my undergraduate studies in Mixed Media at Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, completing my degree in 2006. In 2010, I obtained my graduate degree in Oil Painting from the same institution. Currently, I am based in Los Angeles, where I continue to explore and be inspired.

As a multidisciplinary artist, my creations delve into the complexities of the human condition. My artistic process involves incorporating elements of the abandoned and discarded, symbolizing the fragility and impermanence of life. By juxtaposing contrasting imagery and employing a range of colors, I aim to convey the dichotomy between isolation and connection, chaos and order.

Through my art, I invite viewers to reflect on their own place in the world, the passage of time, and the search for meaning within our ever-changing surroundings. By embracing the innate loneliness that coexists with our shared humanity, I hope to inspire dialogue and introspection.
